Rachel Warren is an associate attorney in the Employment Law Group in the Irvine office of Payne & Fears LLP. Ms. Warren focuses on wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation whistleblower, and wage and hour claims. She has extensive experience in all aspects of employment litigation, including law and motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, trial and appeal.
In 2012, Ms. Warren was part of a trial team that obtained a full defense verdict in an age discrimination and retaliation matter in Los Angeles Superior Court, and also successfully defended the judgment on appeal and on petition to the California Supreme Court. Recently, Ms. Warren was part of a trial team that obtained a unanimous defense verdict on a sex discrimination matter in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Ms. Warren also assists clients with personnel and handbook policies, and provides advice and counseling on a variety of employment law matters.
While in law school, where she graduated second in her class, Ms. Warren served as Senior Notes Editor on the Executive Board of Chapman Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board. Her student note, Pro [Whose] Choice?, was published in the Fall 2009 edition of Chapman Law Review. Ms. Warren was also nominated to the National Order of Scribes and was the recipient of the Golden Quill Award for superior brief writing. Additionally, Ms. Warren served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Glenda Sanders in the Orange County Superior Court. She is also a Blackstone Fellow.
