Kevin C. Brantley is an associate in the Insurance Coverage Group and represents policyholders, primarily homebuilders and developers, in insurance-related matters against their insurers.
He also has experience in complex business litigation including matters involving unfair competition, business torts, bankruptcy and the False Claims Act. In addition, he represented a government contractor with respect to criminal and civil investigations by the United States Department of Justice, NASA, FBI, Air Force Office of Special Investigations, and the Defense Contract Management Agency.
Kevin is a cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. During law school, he was an extern for the Orange County District Attorney’s felony trial panel.
Before joining Payne & Fears, Kevin was an associate at Jones Day, where he represented institutional clients in all aspects of complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts.
